Contemporary tropical living shaped by interlocking pitched roofs, generous overhangs, natural light, and a restrained material palette.

Project 02
A deeply personal transformation of a 600 sq. ft. starter home into a 1,400 sq. ft. family residence—preserving the original structure while creating more room, light, and connection.
Commercial work
Project 03
A proposed three-storey commercial development that brings flexible multi-business offices and an integrated warehouse into one coordinated workplace. A central glazed volume establishes a strong corporate presence, draws daylight into the main circulation, and clearly distinguishes the public entrance from parking and warehouse operations.
Design approach
The composition balances a transparent office identity with the practical demands of warehousing and service access.
Project 04
A proposed entertainment workplace that brings administration, broadcasting, television production, retail, and hospitality into one vertically organized creative hub. Full-height glazing gives the media functions a visible public presence, while blue horizontal bands and warm timber screening establish a bold, brand-led identity.

Uneek Architecture is the design practice of Desson Bess, an architect and University of Guyana graduate. The studio designs residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects through modern forms, natural materials, daylight, and climate-responsive thinking.
